Not a temp, not a handyman. An installer who takes his shoes off, arrives on time and carries the box out when he leaves. We work with our own people, so whoever you spoke to on the phone is the one standing in your hallway with the cordless driver in his hand.
Mijn Meubelmontage puts furniture together in people's homes and in offices, right across the Netherlands. We work with our own fitters and never pass a job on to a subcontractor: the craftsman who walks through your door is the one who booked the appointment, and the one you can call back afterwards if something comes up. The sequence is the same every time. You send us your order list in advance, or a few photographs of the boxes as they stand today; we work out how many cabinets there are, what kind of wall is involved and how many hours it will take, and that produces one fixed price. Only once you have seen that price do we put a day in the diary. An appointment is an appointment. A price is a price. And a wardrobe that wobbles is not one we leave behind.
Why Mijn Meubelmontage
Three reasons, kept short.
The first reason is craftsmanship. Our fitters work to the manufacturer's manual: IKEA METOD, BESTÅ, PAX, Hülsta wall systems. That shows in the finish, in the plinths, in the way a drawer soft-closes, and in the gap between two doors staying even across an entire wall. The second reason is calm. We ring ahead, we arrive on time, and you know the cost before the first hole is drilled. That price holds because we cost the job out beforehand instead of counting halfway through; if the work takes longer than we estimated, that is our problem and not yours. No extra-charge email at the end of the day. The third reason is clearing up. We take the packaging with us, flatten the cardboard in the van and vacuum the floor afterwards, underneath the unit as well. A freshly built wardrobe should not be standing beside a heap of polystyrene.
Small craft, big difference.
A spirit level that is truly level. A hinge that still holds a year later. Those are the small things that separate a good assembly job from a mediocre one. Which is why more comes along than the Allen key from the box: a cordless driver with a torque setting, a hammer drill, a long spirit level and a cross-line laser, plugs for concrete, plasterboard and aerated block, and a cable detector so we know what sits behind the wall before anything is drilled.
What we do
IKEA, kitchens, wardrobes, beds and everything in between.
We assemble IKEA, from a simple BILLY to a complete METOD kitchen in two days. We also assemble brands that aren't IKEA: Hülsta, Häcker, Nolte and other manufacturer kitchens. Floating BESTÅ TV units too, MALM bedrooms for Airbnb hosts and office fit-outs with BEKANT sit-stand desks. A quotation starts with your list. Send us your IKEA order list, the delivery note, or a few photographs of the boxes and of the wall the unit has to go against; from that we read how many cabinets there are, what the wall is made of and how many hours the work will take. A fixed price is ready within 24 hours. We say straight away where our work stops: we don't do gas, and we don't make a fixed electrical connection either. For those we point you to a registered installer or an electrician. Appliances that go into an existing socket we simply connect for you.

Fixed price up front, and a day we choose together. You will hear from us within 24 hours, with a morning or an afternoon proposed and the time window in which we ring the bell. There is almost nothing for you to prepare: put the boxes in the room where the furniture is going, keep a socket free, and make sure we can reach the wall. We bring the rest.
